Growing up in Haʻikū instilled in him the values of humility, hard work, and genuine community connection principles that continue to guide his leadership and the way he serves clients today. As Owner and Principal Broker, Chancellor leads with integrity and a deep respect for local values and relationships that define Hawaii’s business community.
With extensive experience in commercial property management, Chancellor has successfully overseen more than 500,000 square feet of real estate across Maui, including office buildings, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, residential and community associations. His expertise spans operations, maintenance coordination, financial management, and owner reporting ensuring each property is managed efficiently and with care.

Born and raised in Lahaina, Maui, Gloria Cortez-Alafua brings over 16 years of dedicated experience in property accounting to Brown Commercial Properties. Growing up in one of Maui’s close knit and resilient communities helped shape the strong work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine sense of aloha that she brings to her work every day.
Throughout her career, Gloria has overseen the financial management of more than 700,000 square feet of commercial, mixed-use, industrial, retail, office, and residential properties. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of property accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and overall portfolio financial management.
Gloria is known for her reliability, precision, and commitment to maintaining accurate and transparent financial records. Her extensive experience allows her to navigate complex accounting needs while providing dependable support to property owners, tenants, and the management team.
